This is a great job for someone who is passionate about learning, capability building and helping others grow their skills.

This role would suit someone with experience in learning, within data or technology  environments, who’s ready to step into a hands‑on role supporting an Academy that’s shaping Aviva’s future skills. You need to be comfortable influencing, collaborating and delivering through others. If you’re excited by innovation, continuous improvement and making a real impact at scale, this could be the role for you.

A bit about the job:

This role exists to help set up, integrate and run the Data, Technology & Change Academy, including The Foundry. As the Academy Specialist, you will support the Academy Lead to make sure the Academy runs smoothly, delivers high‑quality learning and continues to grow across One Aviva.

In this role, you will be accountable for coordinating activity, maintaining resources, supporting governance and tracking impact to show the value the Academy delivers. Through great organisation, collaboration and curiosity, you will help ensure our people have the skills they need for today and tomorrow.

This role involves regular travel—typically a minimum of once per quarter—to other office locations for the delivery of training courses and participation in internal meetings.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Experience in learning & awareness of activities across the People Function along with proven experience in technology, AI and/or Data industries and how learning supports these capabilities.
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the resilience to manage multiple priorities at pace and work effectively through ambiguity across several initiatives.
  • Confidence working with stakeholders across different teams and levels, building effective working relationships
  • Forward-thinking mindset and an ability to develop new ideas, be creative and join the dots.
  • A proactive, improvement‑focused mindset, with attention to detail and a desire to make things better
