Actuarial Analyst - Salary Circa £55,000

A bit about the job:
As an Actuarial Analyst within our Syndicate Capital team, you'll undertake a variety of actuarial calculations, analysis, modelling and reporting activities that support important business objectives. You'll work with actuarial systems and processes to deliver capital modelling requirements, including Lloyd’s capital submissions, while supporting the development, testing and validation of actuarial models, methodologies and assumptions. Working closely with a range of stakeholders, you'll help answer business questions, identify solutions that support performance and risk management, and contribute to a strong controls framework.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Experience undertaking actuarial analysis, modelling and reporting within an insurance or financial services environment, including capital modelling experience. Lloyd’s experience would be beneficial
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Experience supporting actuarial model development, testing and validation activities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders
- Progressing towards an actuarial qualification or able to demonstrate equivalent actuarial experience

- Starting salary Circa £55,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
