We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Actuarial Projects Lead to join our Actuarial & Assurance team. This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering actuarial projects and strategic change initiatives that support financial and regulatory reporting across Aviva Ireland.

You'll work with a wide range of stakeholders to drive improvement, embed sustainable change and enhance our actuarial reporting capabilities. If you enjoy leading complex projects, influencing decision-making and delivering meaningful business outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.  

Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Lead the delivery of actuarial reporting projects and strategic change initiatives, ensuring outcomes are delivered in a controlled, efficient and sustainable manner.  

  • Translate business and regulatory requirements into project plans, coordinating development, testing and implementation resources across actuarial and wider business teams.  

  • Ensure robust governance, risk management and controls are embedded throughout project delivery, supporting strong financial and regulatory reporting standards.  

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Commercial, Customer Experience, Change and iCare teams to successfully deliver and embed change into business-as-usual operations.  

  • Drive continuous improvement by streamlining reporting processes, increasing automation and reducing reliance on end-user computing tools and manual activities.  

Skills & Experience 

  • Qualified Actuary with extensive post-qualification experience and broad exposure across actuarial disciplines, including financial reporting.  

  • Proven track record of leading and delivering complex projects, change programmes and strategic initiatives in a regulated environment.  

  • Strong understanding of Solvency II, IFRS and actuarial reporting requirements, with the ability to translate technical requirements into practical solutions.  

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence to challenge constructively and make clear recommendations.  

  • Strong leadership capability, with experience working through matrix structures and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

The expected pay range for this role will fall between €120,000 and €140,000 and salary offered will commensurate with candidate's level of skills and experience.

  • A competitive market leading salary depending on skills, experience, and qualifications.
