Business & Platform Design Analyst 

Location: Norwich  

Salary: Circa £35K

This role would suit a Business Analyst, Data Business Analyst, Platform Analyst, or someone with experience in business change, process improvement, or delivery who enjoys working across both business and technology teams. 

A bit about the job: 

Customer Data Platforms brings together the teams that power critical customer journeys and data-led decision making across Aviva. At the heart of this sits our Strategic Customer Master Data Management (SCMDM) platform, providing trusted customer data that supports millions of interactions across our business. 

As a Business Analyst, you'll work closely with stakeholders, delivery teams, platform designers, engineers, and testers to understand business needs and turn them into clear requirements, user stories, and process designs. You'll help shape platform enhancements, support strategic initiatives, and improve the way we work through better governance, documentation, standards, and knowledge sharing. Your work will help ensure our customer data remains accurate, trusted, and ready to support great customer experiences today and for a better tomorrow. 

Skills and experience we're looking for: 

  • Experience gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements, with the ability to translate complex stakeholder needs into clear user stories and requirements. 

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including facilitating workshops and working effectively across business, programme, and technology teams. 

  • Experience creating process maps, requirements documentation, governance artefacts, and knowledge resources using tools such as Jira and Confluence. 

  • Proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives, including developing standards, templates, onboarding materials, documentation libraries, or operating procedures. 

  • Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently while supporting successful delivery outcomes.

  • Salary:Circa£35000(depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
