Business Analyst
An exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst(s) has just become available within the Aviva General Insurance Change Team, delivering multiple initiatives from ideation to deployment on a 24 Month FTC in our One Park Place office. This role focuses on building & migrating our personal insurance products on a new platform, working closely with our product owners and underwriters to deliver improved broker, staff & customer journeys.
Duties & Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate requirement workshops with business stakeholders, including documentation of requirements and securing business sign-off.
Collaborate with third-party IT partners to translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring accuracy and supporting development and testing teams.
Engage with key internal business support teams (e.g. Compliance, DPO, Legal, Risk), adhering to QA and deployment plans, and managing issues and risks as they arise.
Own change requests to existing products and consistently manage the change cycle from initiation to completion.
Skills and Experience We’re Looking For:
You’ll have experience delivering change within the General Insurance or Financial Services industry, including:
Strong analysis, design, and solutioning skills to define business requirements and outcomes.
Stakeholder management experience across business, IT, and support functions (e.g. Compliance, Finance, third-party vendors).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong decision-making and prioritisation abilities.
Confidence and flexibility to manage multiple pieces of work simultaneously, demonstrating personal ownership and thorough follow-through.
Experience using Jira and Acturis would be ideal, particularly in supporting digital transformation and system enhancements.
