We are looking for a detail-oriented Business Analyst to support the transformation of customer communications into clear, structured technical requirements.
This role sits at the intersection of business, content, and technology, ensuring that updates to customer-facing documents (e.g., letters and communications) are accurately translated into JIRA user stories and technical specifications for development teams.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
📑 Document & Content Review
Review and analyse high volumes of customer-facing documents (letters, templates, communications)
Ensure consistency in:
Tone of voice
Wording and structure
Regulatory or business requirements
🔄 Requirements Gathering & Translation
Convert business changes into:
Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)
Structured templates outlining updated wording
Translate non-technical content into:
Clear functional requirements
Defined business rules and logic
🧾 JIRA & User Story Creation
Create and manage requirements in JIRA
Write detailed user stories including:
Acceptance criteria
Business and technical logic
Variations in customer communications
Ensure stories are sufficiently detailed for development teams to build from
🤝 Stakeholder & Technical Collaboration
Work closely with:
Business stakeholders (content owners, compliance, operations)
Development and technical teams
Support developers by:
Clarifying requirements
Ensuring correct interpretation of communication logic
🧠 Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a:
Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst
Strong experience with:
JIRA / Agile environments
Writing user stories and acceptance criteria
BRDs / functional specifications
Ability to:
Translate business language into technical requirements
Work with documentation-heavy environments
Excellent attention to detail, particularly around:
Written communication
Structure and consistency

Experience working with:
Customer communications / letters / content-heavy systems
Financial services, insurance, or regulated industries
Exposure to:
Content transformation or document automation projects
Workflow or rules-based systems
