Business Intelligence Developer (12 Months FTC)

We’re looking for a motivated and analytically minded individual to join our UKGI Claims team as a Data Visualisation Developer. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for data, a desire to create self-serve dashboards, and an interest in solving real-world business challenges. Whether you bring technical BI experience or strong business knowledge with a willingness to learn, we’d love to hear from you.

A bit about the job:

As a Business Intelligence Developer within the Visualisation Team, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, self-serve business intelligence solutions that support strategic decision-making across UKGI Claims. You’ll collaborate with colleagues in BI Engineering, Business Partnering, and Data Governance to ensure our dashboards and reporting tools are intuitive, insightful, and aligned with best practice. Your work will help reduce manual reporting, increase data adoption, and support both regulatory and operational initiatives.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Experience in building self-service BI dashboards (e.g. Qlik, Power BI, Tableau)
  • Ability to analyse, model, and interpret data
  • Logical thinker with a problem-solving mindset
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Well-organised, with the ability to manage your own workload effectively

  • Salary Circa £35,000 for National based (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
