We have an exciting opportunity for a career driven Claims Adjuster to join our supportive and growing team! This is a dynamic role with the opportunity for growth, offering exposure to a range of Financial Lines classes of business and regular interaction with senior leadership and key stakeholders across the organisation.
A bit about the job:
Within the role you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of claims, including oversight of Professional Indemnity (PI), Surety, Management Liability (ML) and deal with a varied caseload of primary and excess layer notifications. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve investigating and evaluating claims, reviewing policy coverage, liaising with stakeholders, and negotiating fair settlements in line with our corporate claims philosophy and best practices. You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of financial outcomes for the team while ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Knowledge of claims handling, quality assurance, fraud and impacting legislation at a level which enables the provision of strategic decision making and direction
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise the competing demands of an active caseload
- Excellent interpersonal skills to act as a credible representative for Aviva
- Track record of a commercial approach with the ability to build great relationships with colleagues, clients and the market
- No Financial Lines claims experience is necessary but previous claims handling experience is essential
