Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Third-Party Property Handler to join our Damage team. This role involves managing a portfolio of Third-Party Property Damage (TPPD) Claims from initial notification through to settlement, ensuring timely and accurate handling in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Caseload Ownership: Manage a personal caseload of TPPD claims, taking full responsibility for progressing each case efficiently and effectively.
- Diary Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date diaries to ensure timely follow-ups, actions, and compliance with service level agreements.
- Call Handling: Respond to inbound and outbound calls with empathy and professionalism, providing clear updates and guidance to customers, third parties, and other stakeholders.
- Organisation & Prioritisation: Demonstrate strong organisational skills to manage competing priorities, ensuring deadlines are met and cases are progressed without delay.
- Documentation & Record Keeping: Accurately record all claim activity, correspondence, and decisions in the claims management system.
- Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with Loss Adjusters, our Policy Holders, Brokers, and other third parties to gather information and negotiate settlements.
- Compliance & Quality: Ensure all claims are handled in accordance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and quality standards.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in Property Damage, or Household claims handling or a similar insurance role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in using claims management systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A customer-focused approach with attention to detail.

Starting salary from £25,100 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
Bonus opportunity - 6% annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
