Has experience handling complex commercial property claims and enjoys investigating, managing and resolving challenging losses? This role would suit a claims professional with strong technical expertise across commercial property claims who thrives in a customer-focused environment and is looking for the opportunity to manage a varied and interesting portfolio of claims from start to finish.

A bit about the job:

As part of our Claims Specialist team, you'll manage a portfolio of complex commercial property claims, ensuring claims are assessed fairly, accurately and in line with policy terms. You'll handle a range of losses including Building Claims, Business Interruption, Alternative Accommodation and Contract Works claims, working closely with customers, brokers and suppliers to progress claims through to settlement. You'll investigate losses, make informed claim decisions and provide technical expertise to support positive customer outcomes. This is a varied role offering autonomy, technical challenge and the opportunity to make a real difference when customers need us most.

Skills and experience we're looking for:

• Experience handling complex and high-value commercial property claims.
• Strong technical knowledge of Building Claims, Business Interruption, Alternative Accommodation and Contract Works claims.
• Ability to investigate claims, assess policy coverage and make sound indemnity decisions.
• Experience managing a varied caseload and coordinating multiple stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
• Knowledge of policy wordings, claims processes and relevant regulatory requirements.

• Starting salary between £34,000 and £36,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
