As a Claims Technology Delivery Lead, you’ll play a key role in Aviva’s UK General Insurance IT Platforms team. You’ll lead the technical design and delivery of our Cloud migration programme, including Guidewire’s PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter. You’ll define the engineering strategy, act as a technical SME, and ensure our solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals. This is a high-impact role at the heart of our digital transformation journey.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Cloud & Guidewire Expertise: Experience migrating and developing Guidewire applications in cloud environments, with strong knowledge of cloud-native architecture, APIs, and configuration tools
  • Modern Development & Automation: Proficiency in Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation, with familiarity in containerization and cloud platforms
  • Technical Problem-Solving & Standards: Strong analytical skills with the ability to design scalable, secure cloud solutions and establish development best practices
  • Stakeholder & Communication Skills: Ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts for varied audiences
  • Leadership & Architecture Oversight: Act as a technical lead across teams, ensuring solution architecture aligns with enterprise standards, security, and compliance

  • National salary circa £92,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
