Claims & Clinical Process Advisor
Salary circa £42,000 - £45,000 pro-rated (depending on location and experience)
Locations: Sheffield, Eastleigh, Glasgow
This role is Part Time (2 days per week) and is a 6 month Secondment
This is a great role for someone has strong Health Claims experience and enjoys using insight, analysis and collaboration to improve customer outcomes. You'll be naturally curious, comfortable working with data and passionate about identifying opportunities to make processes simpler and more effective. This role would suit someone who enjoys building relationships across teams, influencing positive change and helping colleagues deliver great customer experiences. If you're looking to broaden your experience, gain exposure to the Clinical function and play a key role in shaping future ways of working, we'd love to hear from you.
A bit about the job:
Join our Clinical team and help strengthen the way Clinical, Technical Claims and Claims teams work together to deliver better outcomes for customers. You'll use insight, operational data and colleague feedback to identify opportunities to improve referral quality, manage clinical demand more effectively and reduce friction in customer journeys. Working closely with a variety of stakeholders, you'll support the development of guidance, referral pathways and knowledge management tools that help colleagues make informed decisions. You'll also contribute to improvement initiatives, helping to identify opportunities for simplification, automation and more efficient ways of working across Health Claims. This is an exciting opportunity to influence a high-profile test-and-learn initiative while developing valuable skills in analysis, continuous improvement and stakeholder management.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Clinical experience within healthcare, private medical insurance, clinical operations, case management, or a related environment.
- Strong understanding of private medical insurance, health claims processes, and the interpretation of clinical information to support customer outcomes and funding decisions.
- Proven ability to analyse data, identify trends, manage risk, and translate insights into meaningful improvements and positive customer outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively and drive positive change.
- Strong organisational skills and a collaborative mindset, with experience developing or improving clinical guidance, referral pathways, or colleague support materials being advantageous.
