Are you commercially driven, analytically minded, and passionate about delivering performance through data-led decision making? We’re looking for a Commercial Manager to join our Retail Personal Lines team, with a focus on driving growth and profitability in the motor insurance market.
About the Role
As a Commercial Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering our strategy to become the UK’s leading personal lines insurer. You’ll be responsible for managing the performance of one of our flagship motor brands, using insight and innovation to drive commercial outcomes.
You’ll work across a wide range of stakeholders to identify opportunities, optimise propositions, and lead initiatives that improve customer and financial performance.
What You’ll Be Doing
Taking ownership of P&L performance and delivering against commercial targets
Developing and executing proposition strategies to support profitable growth
Using data and insight to identify performance trends and inform trading decisions
Leading virtual teams and collaborating across functions to deliver change
Monitoring market dynamics and adapting strategies to stay competitive
What We’re Looking For
Strong commercial acumen and understanding of the motor insurance market
Experience of delivering both customer and commercial (trading) improvements
Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insight
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
Confidence in challenging the status quo and leading change at pace
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and communication
What you’ll get for this role:
Salary of Circa £55,000 (National) and Circa £65,000 (London) (depending on location, skills, experience and qualifications).
Bonus opportunity - 10% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
Generous pension scheme - Aviva will contribute up to 14%, depending on what you put in.
