A bit about the job

This role sits within the IWR COO Governance and Control Framework team, which helps ensure customer regulations are understood, embedded and consistently applied across our operations. You'll support the development and oversight of key control frameworks, helping teams meet regulatory requirements and deliver good customer outcomes. Working with colleagues across Aviva and our outsourced partners, you'll identify opportunities to strengthen controls, improve oversight and simplify processes. You'll be accountable for providing insight on the health of the control environment, identifying emerging risks and supporting timely action where needed. Your work will help protect customers, reduce regulatory risk and support Aviva's strategic objectives.

Skills and experience we're looking for:

  • Experience developing, implementing, or overseeing policies, frameworks, or controls within a regulated environment.
  • Strong understanding of risk, governance, and regulatory requirements, with the ability to translate these into practical business solutions.
  • Experience analysing data and information to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build effective relationships across multiple teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present clear and concise recommendations.

  • Starting salary circa £42.000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
