A bit about the job:

This role is all about keeping our financial control environment strong and effective. You’ll lead on control assessments, support our ICARE and ORCM processes, and manage our relationship with external auditors. You’ll be part of the Chief Accounting Officer team – a group edelivering financial reporting for Aviva. You’ll also help shape how we embed controls into new processes and champion best practice across the business.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Strong knowledge of financial controls and external/internal audit processes
• Experience managing complex processes and working with senior stakeholders
• Skilled in risk assessment, issue management, and governance reporting
• Confident communicator who can influence across teams
• A collaborative mindset and a passion for continuous improvement

• Starting salary circa £75,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
