Counter Fraud Intelligence Analyst – Insurance
Salary circa £40,000 DOE
This is a great job for someone who has significant experience in intelligence analysis, risk management, fraud prevention or investigations and is ready to take on a senior subject matter expert role. You will enjoy turning complex information into clear intelligence products that influence strategic decision-making, while working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders. This role would suit someone with experience in insurance, financial services, law enforcement or a regulated environment who is confident leading investigations, influencing others and driving positive outcomes.
A bit about the job:
You will conduct intelligence-led investigations into organised fraud and financial crime, identifying criminal networks, emerging threats, and suspicious activity through the analysis of intelligence, data, and information from a variety of sources. You will identify fraud trends, patterns, and vulnerabilities, producing actionable intelligence products that support operational activity and strengthen fraud prevention strategies.
Using analytical techniques, investigative methodologies, and intelligence tools, you will proactively detect and disrupt fraudulent activity. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will share intelligence, support complex investigations, and contribute to effective fraud prevention and risk mitigation measures. Through the production of high-quality intelligence assessments and recommendations, you will enable informed decision-making and enhance the organisation's response to organised fraud threats.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in intelligence analysis, investigations, fraud risk management or a related analytical discipline along with a relevant intelligence analytics or fraud investigation qualification.
- Strong ability to gather, assess and interpret complex information, identifying patterns, risks and actionable insights.
- Experience producing intelligence, risk or analytical products for senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making.
- Knowledge of working within a regulated environment, including data protection and information governance requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate, challenge constructively and communicate complex findings clearly.

- Salary circa £40,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
