Duties & Responsibilities
Deliver robust risk and control management, ensuring key deadlines are met for risk and issue closures and items logged in the Risk Register.
Provide technical support for Customer operational teams on risk management and systems such as iCARE and CRIS.
Support operations teams with Internal Audit reports, compliance reviews, and 1st line assurance reviews, ensuring actions are completed and learnings shared across product lines.
Maintain oversight of financial crime and data protection controls, coordinating with key contacts across operations.
Report high-quality MI to senior management and take actions from risk forums, ensuring risks and controls remain within Aviva’s tolerance level.
Skills & Experience
Experience in Customer operational risk management or a similar role.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
Excellent communication skills – able to explain risk concepts clearly and simply.
Organised and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with expertise in Excel (including data analysis, pivot tables, and formulas), and strong working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint for documentation and presentation of risk insights
