A bit about the job 

You’ll help protect Aviva’s information and systems by making sure cyber security controls are effective, measured, and improving over time.

Working within Group Functions, you’ll partner closely with Cyber, Technology and Business teams to manage risk well and support change at pace. 

You’ll own and operate a defined set of security controls, provide specialist input into initiatives and incidents, and turn technical insights into clear, practical outcomes that help keep Aviva secure. 

Skills and experience we’re looking for 

• Apply strong technical security knowledge across at least one domain (e.g., IAM, cloud, endpoint, vulnerability management, SOC, GRC) 

• Operate and assure security controls in a regulated environment, maintaining risk/control records and audit evidence 

• Ability to assess risk, design controls, and produce clear, evidence-based assurance 

• Work independently with strong analytical skills and attention to detail, driving issues through to resolution 

• Influence and challenge stakeholders constructively with excellent communication and a customer-focused mindset

• Salary Circa: £60000 (depending on location, skills, experience and qualifications).
