Salary: Circa £55,000 

Location: Leeds or Norwich  

Contract: 12 Months FTC

is experienced in data protection and governance within financial services and enjoys working across a wide range of activities—from providing advice to managing risk and compliance.  

This role would suit someone who’s confident managing their own workload and keen to build deeper expertise in privacy and data governance. 

A bit about the job: 

You’ll join our Data Governance and Data Protection team, helping to shape how we manage and protect data across General Insurance and Digital.  

You’ll provide practical advice, support assessments, and help manage data risks to make sure we meet regulatory and internal standards. 

This is a varied role where you’ll work across multiple areas, including data protection compliance, subject rights, breaches, and third-party oversight.  

By making sure our data is well managed and protected, you’ll help us support better outcomes for our customers and deliver our business strategy. 

Skills and experience we’re looking for: 

• Experience completing Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) in financial services 

• Good understanding of data protection risks, including credit reference agency and pricing data 

• Knowledge of data governance and regulatory compliance principles 

• Experience working with risk and control frameworks, ideally in an FCA-regulated environment 

• A relevant qualification such as CIPP/E (or working towards it)
