Finance Business Partnering Manager

We’ve an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partnering Manager to join Aviva Ireland. This role plays a key part in enabling data‑led decision‑making across the business.

As Finance Business Partnering Manager, you’ll lead our MI function, working closely with Finance Business Partners and stakeholders across Aviva Ireland to understand insight needs and deliver meaningful, high‑quality MI.

You’ll combine strong technical capability with people leadership, driving automation, improving data utilisation and building a high‑performing team. It’s a role where you’ll help shape how data supports performance, transformation and better business outcomes.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Engage with teams across the business to understand their MI needs and ensure financial insight supports effective decision making.

• Lead data acquisition and governance activity, ensuring the MI team has access to accurate, complete and timely data.

• Design and deliver MI solutions and dashboards that embed data at the heart of business decisions.

• Drive automation initiatives using tools such as Python and SQL to remove manual processes and improve operational efficiency.

• Lead and develop the MI team, overseeing BAU and project delivery, setting priorities and providing coaching and support.

Skills & Experiences

• Strong experience in Finance, MI and data analytics within a complex organisation.

• Proven people management capability, including performance management, development and delivery of training.

• Technical expertise in finance, data and automation tools such as SQL, Python and related MI platforms.

• Experience partnering with IT and transformation teams to deliver strategic improvements in data and insight.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a collaborative and solutions‑focused approach.
