Financial Advisor
We’re looking for a Financial Advisor to join our Life team in Galway on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract to help us deliver exceptional outcomes for our customers. In this role, you’ll build strong relationships with new and existing clients, supporting them with clear, professional financial advice that genuinely meets their needs. You’ll be responsible for meeting performance targets while ensuring every interaction reflects Aviva’s commitment to doing the right thing. You’ll also play an important role in supporting colleagues, supervising advisory activities, and occasionally adjudicating on complaints. Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide professional financial advice across the suite of Aviva products, using the Aviva advice process and in line with compliance standards.
Proactively manage an existing customer base while developing strong relationships with new clients to help them achieve better financial outcomes.
Achieve performance and activity targets while upholding high levels of service and customer care.
Ensure all advice is compliant with company policies, regulatory requirements, and professional standards.
Follow appropriate risk management procedures to monitor, control, and report on all business activities.
Strong sales ability with a customer‑focused mindset; experience in Life & Pensions Industry is essential along with QFA Qualification.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust quickly.
A collaborative team player who values shared success.
Flexible, eager to learn, and motivated to develop new skills.
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise work, take initiative, and operate effectively with minimal supervision.
Fitness and Probity
This is a Regulated Role and will be subject to enhanced pre-employment screening procedures. There will be an on-going requirement for the role holder to maintain fit and proper status.

The expected pay range for this role will fall between €37,000 and €47,000 and salary offered will commensurate with candidate's level of skills and experience.
