Financial Crime Manager – Salary circa £45,000 pro-rated to 24 hours/week
We have an exciting opportunity in 2nd line UK Financial Crime Risk within the Outsourced Service Providers (OSPs) team. We are looking for someone who is interested in financial crime prevention, passionate about compliance and is keen to play an active part in supporting the anti-financial crime assurance in Aviva and our partners/suppliers.
The role is based in the 2nd line and will cover financial crimes risk management in our major partners/suppliers. If you are looking to build on your knowledge of financial crime prevention, risk management or assurance, you have a good attention to detail and not afraid to have challenging conversations, we would love to hear from you!
This is a part-time position of 24 hours per week. As we work in a fluid and evolving environment, there may be opportunities for this to increase over time, although this cannot be guaranteed. Applications from individuals returning to work are warmly welcomed.
A bit about the job:
Our key purpose is to provide advice, support, challenge to, and 2nd line oversight of, the major key Aviva IWR partners/suppliers to Aviva IWR to help manage the risks of financial crimes.
You will be based in our Outsourcer Service Providers (OSPs) Team. We monitor (with the Aviva Relationship Managers (RMs)), the financial crime risks, remediation, change programmes and ‘Business as Usual’ (BAU) activity of our OSPs. You will protect Aviva’s reputation by helping evidence the sound, regular oversight of their activities in relation to the various financial crime risks. This is a unique opportunity to build on existing knowledge and experience of OSPs, assurance, compliance or financial crime.
During your day to day work you will apply your strong organisational, communication (verbal and written) and stakeholder/relationship management and prioritising skills. A core part of the role is to challenge the status quo, or a changing situation and then help manage Aviva and the OSPs to a safer risk position.
