A bit about the job
You’ll join our GenAI Oasis team within Group Enterprise Technology, where we build and run Aviva’s enterprise wide Gen AI platform.
Your focus will be on engineering secure, scalable GenAI solutions that plug into Aviva’s business applications and help teams work smarter.
You’ll develop, deploy and optimise GenAI services, support experimentation across the organisation, and help make sure everything we build is safe, responsible and productionready.
Key responsibilities
Build and deliver GenAI‑powered applications on Aviva’s enterprise GenAI platform, Oasis
Integrate GenAI services into business systems using secure, scalable APIs
Deploy, tune and evaluate GenAI models across multi‑cloud environments (Azure and AWS)
Apply strong software engineering, testing and DevSecOps practices to ensure quality and reliability
Work with the Technical Design Authority and cross‑functional teams to shape safe, responsible GenAI solutions
Skills and experience we’re looking for
Handson experience building or integrating AI or Generative AI solutions in a production environment
Strong software engineering skills, with experience working in cloudbased platforms (Azure and/or AWS)
Experience working with APIs, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines within a DevSecOps environment
An understanding of model risk, security and responsible AI practices
Confident communicator who can work with engineers, architects and nontechnical stakeholders

Starting salary: National: Circa £50,000 London: Circa £65,000 (depending on location, skills, experience and qualifications)
