We’re looking for a Governance and Assurance Business Partner to help embed Aviva’s risk and control framework across ALPI. In this role, you’ll enable stakeholders to manage operational risks effectively and consistently, ensuring timely escalation of emerging risks and compliance with Group and regulatory standards. Through high-quality risk assessments, assurance activity, and insightful reporting, you’ll strengthen governance and transparency, supporting safe growth and protecting customer outcomes. Duties and responsibilities

  • Design and deliver ORCM training across ALPI to build stakeholder capability and embed the framework.

  • Provide expert support via the help desk, resolving ORCM and iCARE queries with consistent guidance.

  • Participate in RCSAs, ensuring risk assessments are robust and aligned with Group standards.

  • Support the development and execution of the iCARE quality oversight plan and validate new controls.

  • Analyse ORCM MI and exception data to identify trends and emerging risks, supporting governance forums.

Skills and experience

  • Strong understanding of operational risk frameworks and governance methodologies.

  • Experience in risk assessment, assurance, and reporting within financial services.

  • Ability to interpret risk data and provide actionable insights.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

  • Experience supporting automation and process improvement initiatives.

The expected pay range for this role will fall between €70,000 and €90,000 and salary offered willcommensurate with candidate's level of skills and experience.
