Group Protection Administrator

We're looking for a Group Protection Administrator to join our Group Protection team based in Cherrywood (moving to OPP-Hatch Street in 2027).  This is a great career opportunity leading to progression and development opportunities within Group Protection.

Reporting to the Group Protection Team Leader, you'll become part of a collaborative team, supporting our renewal administration activities and working closely with an assigned broker panel. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys delivering great customer outcomes, building strong relationships and working in a fast-paced environment. You'll play an important role in ensuring customers and brokers receive a first-class service while helping the team achieve its objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage and prioritise your workload effectively to meet the needs of customers, brokers and business deadlines.

  • Build and maintain own positive relationships with customers, brokers and key stakeholders, delivering an excellent customer experience, via mailbox and telephone.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve individual and team objectives and support overall team success.

  • Manage a portfolio of Group Protection schemes, providing administration support directly to clients and brokers.

  • Identify and escalate complaints, errors or risks appropriately while ensuring compliance with Aviva's Risk & Control framework.

Skills & Experiences:

  • Knowledge of the Group Protection and Pensions market, including relevant products, processes and industry practices (APA/ QFA) is highly advantageous. (Professional qualification support is available as part of this role including Aviva's commitment to supporting continued development and career progression.)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, ideally with experience using L400.

  • Strong customer focus with the ability to make decisions and solve problems with the customer at the heart of every outcome.

  • Proven organisation, planning and time management skills, with the ability to deliver accurate work to agreed deadlines.

The expected pay range for this role will fall between €33,000 and €40,000 and salary offered will commensurate with candidate's level of skills and experience.
