Head of Broker Distribution
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of Aviva's retail broker business in Ireland. As Head of Broker Distribution, you'll shape and deliver Aviva's retail broker strategy across investments, pensions and protection, taking ownership of sales performance, strategic partnerships and sustainable growth across our national broker network. Reporting to the Sales Director and forming part of the Distribution Leadership Team, you'll lead a team of senior sales leaders, influence enterprise-wide decision making and play a key role in shaping Aviva's future distribution strategy. You'll build and strengthen strategic broker partnerships, drive commercial success and ensure excellent customer outcomes while maintaining strong risk governance.
This role can be based in our Dublin OPP, Cork or Galway office and will involve regular travel across Ireland to develop strategic broker relationships, identify growth opportunities and support commercial success.
Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and deliver Aviva's retail broker sales strategy, translating long-term growth ambitions into clear commercial priorities across investments, pensions and protection.
Lead the national retail sales team to achieve sales, profitability, market share and customer outcome targets while building leadership capability and succession strength across the organisation.
Build and strengthen strategic broker relationships while identifying and developing future partnership opportunities that expand Aviva's distribution footprint and create sustainable growth.
Use market insight, broker intelligence and performance data to identify growth opportunities, manage risks and make informed strategic decisions that support long-term success.
Partner with colleagues across Proposition, Marketing, Operations, Customer, Finance, Risk, Compliance and Technology to deliver an integrated and customer-focused growth agenda.
Skills & Experiences
Significant leadership experience within the Life & Pensions industry, with a proven track record of success in broker distribution and sales leadership roles.
Strong experience developing and executing commercial strategies that deliver sustainable growth, profitability and positive customer outcomes.
Deep understanding of the Irish broker market, including intermediary relationships, distribution models, strategic partnerships and emerging market trends.
Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders, lead through others and build high-performing teams across complex organisations.
QFA qualified, with strong commercial acumen and extensive experience operating within regulated environments, governance frameworks and risk management requirements.

The salary offered will commensurate with candidate's level of skills and experience.
