A bit about the job: 

The successful candidate will report into the People Director of our UK&Ireland General Insurance Business and will partner one of the Manging Director’s and their senior leadership team driving great customer and people outcomes, business performance, and sustainability, by defining and implementing an end-to-end people strategy. 

The role also involves:

  • People Strategy: Design and implement effective People strategies that align with business objectives and drive desired customer outcomes 

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate positive relationships with senior stakeholders and oversee organisational development and change. 

  • Transformation Leadership: Oversee people transformation delivery and organisational development projects, ensuring smooth execution during periods of change. 

  • Talent and Growth: Focus on developing our future workforce, building future skills/capability, talent management and robust succession planning. 

  • Diversity and Inclusion: Champion our dedication to crafting a diverse and inclusive organisation where talent can thrive. 

Skills and Experience 

  • Senior HR Expertise: Proven experience in senior HR business partnering roles within large, complex consumer-led organisations (i.e. 5,000 employees or above). Financial Services experience is highly desirable!  

  • Competence in Strategy: Demonstrate ability to devise, deliver, and drive strategic people agendas to deliver on our business plans. 

  • Relationship Building: Outstanding relationship building skills, with confidence in dealing with Director and C-suite level employees. 

  • Change Management: Comfortable navigating change with a proven track record in leading transformation and organisational development projects. 

  • Delivery; proven record of delivery of people strategy and plans, delivering commercial and customer outcomes.

  • Salary £100,000 - £120,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
