We’re looking for a Head of People Transformation to own the people transformation plan for very large, multi year business change programmes for Aviva Corporate Functions. Reporting to the Workforce Transformation & Planning Director, and working closely with the Chief People Officer, Aviva Corporate Functions you’ll be working with senior stakeholders in our Functional Transformation teams along with our Heads of People, and the wider People function.

The People Function is made up of HR professionals including People Change, Workforce Planning, Org Design, Talent Acquisition, Development, Learning, Reward and Business Partnering. You will be joining a high performing, but close-knit team. What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead the people transformation portfolio across major business change initiatives in corporate functions, ensuring people impacts are understood, planned for, and delivered effectively.

  • Develop and own the People Plan and road map for transformation programmes, aligning it with business goals and ensuring smooth delivery

  • Assess and develop resource requirements for both business and People function teams involved in transformation.

  • Manage key person dependencies, including planning for transitions and offboarding of business resources deployed to change activity.

  • Shape future capability by identifying and growing the distinctive skills needed to realise the future vision of the business unit or function.

  • Plan, track and monitor project activity and keep relevant stakeholders up to date weekly on plans and issues, such as People Director, Finance and business partners across various areas.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience leading people change in large, complex transformation programmes.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.

  • Strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to delivery.

  • Resilience and tenacity to build and maintain change momentum.

  • Demonstrable experience in organisational change projects, applying business change techniques and methodology.

  • Salary £100,000 - £120,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
