This role would suit someone with strong HR business partnering experience, ideally at a senior level, who’s ready to influence and shape the people agenda across a complex and dynamic organisation. You’ll be confident working with senior leaders and comfortable navigating ambiguity, transformation, and change.

A bit about the job:


Our Head of People roles partner with senior leaders in commercial business units and functional teams across Aviva’s businesses. These roles play a key part in shaping and delivering people strategies that support business performance, transformation, and colleague experience. You’ll be joining a collaborative and forward-thinking team that works across a broad portfolio, driving strategic initiatives and enabling leaders to get the best from their teams.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in senior HR business partnering roles, ideally within large, complex organisations

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge and support senior leaders

  • Experience in leading change and transformation programmes

  • Commercial acumen and a strategic mindset

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment

  • Salary £100,000 - £120,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
