Integration Management Office Portfolio Manager - 12-month Fixed Term Contract
Salary: circa £85,000
Locations: We're flexible on location, provided you're within commuting distance of one of Aviva's regional offices (outside of London) and can attend on our hybrid basis.
There will be a requirement to travel to the London office up to 2 days per week.
This is a great job for someone who thrives in a complex change environment and enjoys bringing structure, insight and coordination to large-scale transformation programmes. You may have experience in portfolio management, programme planning, PMO, governance or delivery assurance and be looking to broaden your exposure within a high-profile strategic initiative. This role would suit someone who enjoys working with a wide range of stakeholders, analysing information to identify key risks and dependencies, and helping teams deliver successfully through effective planning and assurance.
A bit about the job:
We have an exciting 12 month opportunity to join the Direct Line integration programme as an Integration Portfolio Manager Management Office
The Direct Line integration is one of Aviva’s most significant transformation programmes, bringing together activity across multiple business areas to support a safe, controlled and successful integration.
Working within the Portfolio Planning & Assurance function, you'll support the Head of Portfolio Assurance & Planning by providing analysis, coordination and delivery assurance across workstreams, Finance and Risk teams. You’ll help maintain the information, governance and reporting that enables senior leaders to understand delivery performance, manage emerging risks and make informed decisions. You'll also play an important role in embedding sustainable governance, planning and assurance processes as activity transitions into internal teams.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Experience in portfolio management, programme planning, PMO, governance, reporting or delivery assurance within a complex transformation or change environment.
Strong analytical skills with experience of integrated planning, milestone tracking, dependency management and translating complex information into clear recommendations and insights.
Ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively with delivery, finance, risk and control teams, providing constructive challenge where required.
Experience supporting governance, assurance or risk management activities, including monitoring actions, tracking remediation and preparing reporting for senior stakeholders.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail, able to manage competing priorities, improve ways of working and confidently use reporting and portfolio management tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project or Planview.

Salary circa £85,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
Bonus opportunity - 12% of annual salary (actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.)
