We’re currently recruiting for an Investment Analyst to join our fantastic Annuity Asset Origination (AAO) team, part of Aviva’s market-leading Annuity and Equity Release business. As an Investment Analyst, you’ll gain exposure to a wide range of fixed income asset classes — from infrastructure and real estate debt to structured finance and private placements in private markets, as well as corporate, sovereign, and emerging market debt in public markets.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Confidence with numerical and quantitative analysis, ideally with a financial or quantitative degree and strong Excel skills; basic coding ability is a plus.
- Keen interest in fixed income investments and liability-driven investing, with a basic understanding of Solvency II regulation.
- Ability to summarise complex decision-making considerations and draft compelling investment rationale and recommendations.
- Understanding of market risk management fundamentals, including vanilla derivatives for hedging interest rate and currency exposures.
- Interest in pursuing further investment or financial qualifications (e.g. CFA or actuarial).
