IT Vendor Governance Manager

We’re looking for an IT Vendor Governance Manager to help us keep our technology supply chain safe, compliant and performing at its best. In this role, you’ll oversee the onboarding and governance of our IT suppliers, ensuring they meet the high operational and regulatory standards expected in the insurance industry. You’ll work closely with colleagues across IT, Risk, Procurement, Finance and our technology partners to manage service performance, resolve issues and reduce supplier-related risks. You’ll also play a key role in shaping how we manage our ICT services as we continue to strengthen resilience and customer outcomes. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership and making a meaningful impact on how our technology ecosystem runs.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead the onboarding, due diligence and risk assessment of new IT suppliers in line with regulatory and internal requirements
  • Oversee ongoing governance of current technology suppliers, ensuring they meet service, risk, commercial and contractual obligations
  • Monitor supplier performance and SLAs, escalating issues and driving remediation where required
  • Work with IT, Risk, Procurement and suppliers to strengthen controls, resilience and operational oversight
  • Prepare clear reports and insights for senior stakeholders on supplier risks, performance and compliance

Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in IT vendor management, third‑party risk or outsourcing governance
  • Background working with suppliers in a regulated environment (insurance, banking or financial services preferred)
  • Proven ability to manage supplier onboarding,  TPRM  through due diligence and ongoing assurance processes
  • Confident in identifying, analysing and resolving supplier performance or service issues
  • Excellent communication, data analysis  and stakeholder management skills across technical and non‑technical teams
  • Good understanding of regulatory expectations relating to outsourcing and supplier risk (e.g. DORA, CP138, CP140)
