A bit about the job:

We’re expanding our construction business and looking for a Lloyds Construction Underwriting Manager to help lead the way. You’ll join a collaborative team focused on international and UK risks, working closely with brokers and clients in the Lloyds marketplace. Your role will include technical underwriting, pricing, and market engagement. You’ll also support strategy development and help grow our Lloyds proposition. And you’ll play a key part in mentoring junior underwriters and sharing your expertise.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Proven experience writing a profitable Lloyd’s Construction book (open market & cover holders)

• Strong broker network and ability to represent Aviva confidently in the market

• Skilled in reviewing submissions and aligning with Aviva’s appetite

• Comfortable navigating a large organisation and collaborating across teams

• Passionate about developing others and sharing knowledge
