A bit about the job:
The Major & Complex Claims (MCC) Demand and Performance Team focuses on delivering accurate business and financial metrics, along with insights, to the MCC claims teams. It also provides performance reporting to key stakeholders across Claims and the wider UKGI business. This role supports the Specialty Claims team, which includes areas such as Marine, Crisis Management, Renewables, Engineering, Construction, International Property, Real Estate, and Multinational Claims.
Responsibilities
Gather, review, and analyse data to identify data-led insights which guide and inform critical business decisions and drive MCC performance.
Monitoring the performance of the Specialty Lines MCC system by tracking key cost and customer metrics.
Work with the wider Claims operational teams, Supply Chain, Claims Finance and wider UKGI Teams (e.g. Actuarial, Underwriting) to identify and understand trends in data.
Provision of financial analysis and insight in terms of regular KPI/Performance packs and ad-hoc reporting requests.
Skills and experience we are looking for:
Highly numerate with relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in data analysis or financial reporting.
Strong commercial understanding of the insurance industry, ideally with exposure to claims or Specialty Lines products.
Proven stakeholder management skills across various levels of seniority.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to create clear, concise, and visually engaging reports.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret trends, identify anomalies, and provide actionable insights.

Salary circa £50.000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
Bonus opportunity – 10 % of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
