Payroll Administrator
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Retirement Solutions Payroll team in Dublin. If you have experience in working in Payroll, have strong organisational and interpersonal skills and are a team player then this could be the role for you.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced payroll team. The successful candidate will be running our weekly and monthly payrolls, liaising with our customers and brokers on payroll related queries and working closely with our ARF’s and Annuities team ensuring our customer are paid on time.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Process payroll payments through Megapay, ensuring all transactions are completed accurately and within agreed service levels.
- Review payment files and carry out detailed quality checks on payee information, bank account details, and customer records to minimise risk and ensure compliance.
- Ensure payroll and tax information is maintained correctly and remains aligned with PAYE Modernisation requirements and internal controls.
- Work closely with ARF and Annuities teams to capture, reconcile, and process new and ongoing payments, including the management of returned or failed payments.
- Respond to payroll and tax-related queries from customers and brokers, investigate complaints, and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders while delivering excellent customer service.
- Previous experience using Megapay or a similar payroll system, with strong payroll administration skills and a sound understanding of payroll processes.
- Good knowledge of PAYE, taxation requirements, and payroll compliance, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience working with ARF and Annuity payrolls, together with an understanding of the Life & Pensions industry and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet critical deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and business systems, with a customer-focused approach, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

The expected pay range for this role will fall between €35,000 and €40,000 and salary offered will commensurate with candidate's level of skills and experience.
