Pensions Administrator - Starting salary between £26,900 to £33,885 (depending on hours, skills and experience) plus additional benefits
We are looking for Pension Administrators to join our rapidly expanding Bulk Purchase Annuity administration team. We want you to help us deliver the very best service to our direct customers and pension scheme trustees.
Our standard full-time contracts are for 35 hours per week (with options for part time working). However we want you to have the flexibility to increase your working hours if it suits you, so we also offer the option for an enhanced 40 hour contract.
Allocated shift pattern between 08:00 – 18:00 Monday – Friday
A bit about the job
This role will involve calculating technical and personalised pension quotations to help our customers make important decisions about their retirement options.

Our product can be technical at times & there’s a lot to learn. That’s why we’ll provide you with 12-weeks of classroom-based training to teach you the fundamentals, followed by a peer led coaching and support programme to accelerate your path to becoming an accredited Pension Administrator.
Skills and experience we’re looking for
Strong mathematical background and/or problem-solving skills to help you master complex pension calculations across a wide range of pension schemes and the ability to identify the correct information from policy documentation and apply it to your calculations accurately.
Confident working with Microsoft Excel or similar
Ability to follow sometimes complex processes and procedures, manage your own workload effectively and identify opportunities for improvement.
Great teamwork and communication skills
Experience in pensions administration or the financial services environment would be advantageous, however what’s essential is the mental agility and desire to learn.
