Are you a career-driven individual looking for an exciting opportunity? We have a fantastic opening for a Pensions Manager working within our Cherrywood office!

You will be responsible for managing a team or multiple teams and act as a role model to maintain customer service standards, best practice and performance outcomes, whilst ensuring adherence to internal policies, procedures, risk and compliance standards and regulations.

You will also contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures and best practices whilst responsible for the team maintaining and improving customer service standards and levels, monitor market trends to identify emerging customer needs and opportunities and implement solutions to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage the team's workflow and capacity (setting priorities, delegating tasks and ensuring deadlines are met), monitor the team budget and required performance KPIs
  • Prepare reports and presentations to senior stakeholders, evaluate and monitor performance whilst providing technical and professional guidance, feedback and support to optimise results
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, maintain and provide customer service data and other management information as required, coordinate and contribute to various projects and initiatives
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to streamline processes and improve the customer journey, act as a technical point of reference for more complex queries
  • Support the delivery of good customer outcomes through all activities and deliverables, enabling us to act in good faith towards customers, avoid causing foreseeable harm and enable and support our customers to pursue their financial objectives

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience within a management position, leading a team
  • A minimum QFA Qualification is essential for this position
  • Great communication skills both written and verbal
  • Thorough understanding of legislative obligations relating to Pensions Act, Consumer Protection Code
  • Ability to embed a strict risk controls environment within the team
