The Performance & Insight Analyst role would suit an individual who is highly analytical, commercially aware, and passionate about using data to influence strategic decisions. A bit about the job:

This role sits within the Major & Complex Claims (MCC) Demand and Performance Team. Our team’s purpose is to provide accurate business and financial metrics and insights to support MCC claims teams and inform key stakeholders across the business.

The position holder will be responsible for analysing performance data, identifying trends, and producing regular and ad-hoc reports that support decision-making at the highest levels, including Exco. You’ll work closely with Claims Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Actuarial, and Underwriting teams to ensure insights are aligned and impactful.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Highly numerate with relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in data analysis or financial reporting.
  • Strong commercial understanding of the insurance industry, ideally with exposure to claims.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills across various levels of seniority.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to create clear, concise, and visually engaging reports.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret trends, identify anomalies, and provide actionable insights.

  • Starting salary circa £50,000 (National) / circa £60,000 (London) (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
