A bit about the job:
This is a unique opportunity to join the Group COO Office, supporting the Group Chief Operating Officer and the SLT in delivering high-quality communications, governance, and strategic inputs across Aviva. You’ll help shape and track performance against the COO Scorecard, manage Board and ExCo engagement, and lead on risk and governance frameworks. The role spans strategic planning, communications, and operational oversight, with exposure to ambitious programmes.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior leaders and navigating complex organisational structures.
Strategic thinker with experience in performance tracking, governance, and risk management frameworks.
Experience working in Financial Services regulatory environment.
Skilled communicator with the ability to influence, challenge constructively, and manage sensitive information discreetly.
Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives and working groups, ideally within a COO or transformation context.

National salary: circa £70,000, London salary: £90,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
