Platform Leader - Delivery
Platform Leader - Delivery
Location: Norwich
Salary: Circa £70,000
We have an exciting opportunity for a Platform Leader to shape and drive the Change Delivery capability across the Customer Data Platforms. This role sits within the Customer & Marketing CIO function and spans multiple platform teams including MDM/SCM, SVOC/Cyclops and Martech, which deliver change across not only C&M, but also GI (e. g. River) and IWR (e. g. Plan A).
This is a leadership role that blends change delivery discipline with commercial acumen in a technical/data context, to ensure outcomes are delivered reliably, predictably, and with real business impact.
A bit about the job:
- Lead and expand the Change Delivery function across the Customer Data Platforms, with a focus on optimising the value stream of change—improving flow, quality and predictability—while balancing platform health, resilience and regulatory needs.
- Build, lead and line‑manage a high‑performing community of Agile Delivery Specialists and Scrum Masters; set standards, coach for mastery and create progression pathways. Embed a culture of psychological safety, continuous improvement and data‑informed decision‑making across teams.
- Champion Agile practices within engineering teams and across broader project environments, adapting delivery approaches to suit context. Uplift platform planning and delivery capability to ensure that commitments are delivered on time and within budget.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across business and technology to ensure delivery remains aligned and responsive. Implement relevant delivery metrics and develop transparent reporting to strengthen trust with stakeholders.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in leading change delivery teams across complex, multi-team environments, ideally within data or technology platforms.
- Strong track record in uplifting change delivery capability with a strong focus on implementing consistent metrics and reporting.
- Solid understanding of Agile values, principles, and delivery methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), with the ability to apply them pragmatically.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence, inspire, and drive collaboration.
- Skilled in facilitation, coaching, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- A delivery-focused mindset with a passion for enabling teams to succeed and deliver value.
