A bit about the job:
You'll be joining our Finance Technology Platform team, which plays a vital role in supporting the movement of data across Aviva for operational and regulatory reporting. As a Release Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our software development lifecycle—planning, coordinating, and overseeing the deployment of software releases across our estate. You’ll work closely with development, testing, and operations teams to ensure releases are delivered smoothly, safely, and with minimal risk to our services.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and experience with release management tools and methodologies
- Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills to engage and influence stakeholders
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments, including CI/CD pipelines
- A proactive, strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset and the confidence to challenge constructively

- Starting salary £45,000 - £55,000 for National based (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
- Bonus opportunity 10% of annual salary - Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s
