The successful candidate will review and investigate policy referrals, proactively identify potential policy concerns or inconsistencies using technology, data analytics, and business rules to search and review underwriting information across the GI business. You will also be required to assist and learn from the Senior Policy Fraud Investigators regarding daily tasks. The objective is to ensure that policies are written on the correct technical basis in addition to meeting our acceptance criteria. This opportunity is open to multiple locations: Galway, Dublin & Cork.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Investigate and analyse policy referrals using systems, analytics, and personal experience.
  • Liaise with internal and external colleagues, including An Garda Síochána, to verify documentation.
  • Support colleagues via phone and email and retrieve necessary documentation from relevant teams.
  • Collaborate with field investigators and internal stakeholders to support training and process improvement.
  • Complete new business motor policy screening and execute referrals in line with internal processes.
  • Attend regular meetings, identify process gaps, and ensure compliance with Section 19 of the Criminal Justice Act.

Skills & Experience required

  • Strong knowledge of motor insurance underwriting and investigative techniques.
  • Analytical mindset with sound problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Confident communicator with strong verbal and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance, including data protection obligations.
  • Critical thinker who fosters a culture of challenge, support, and continuous improvement.
