A bit about the job:

You’ll be responsible for underwriting new business, renewals, and mid-term adjustments across APC product lines. You may manage a specific panel, individual broker, or broker category, and will play a key role in helping APC exceed its growth and retention targets. You’ll work closely with internal teams and brokers to deliver market-leading underwriting performance and customer outcomes.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Strong understanding of the Private Client market and underwriting principles

• Proven ability to manage broker relationships and drive profitable growth

• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills

• Resilient working in a fast paced environment

• Relevant underwriting licences and a commitment to ongoing professional development (CII encouraged)

• Starting salary between £50,000 -£75,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
