Property Asbestos Consultant – Salary circa £35.000

A bit about the job:

You’ll support our Property Claims Asbestos Lead to continue protecting customers, colleagues, and suppliers from potential asbestos exposure in property claims.
You’ll work across internal teams and external suppliers to keep our processes consistent and safe.
You’ll manage asbestos-related referrals, assess risk, monitor compliance, and coach stakeholders.
You’ll also help design and embed process improvements.
You’ll be joining a collaborative team focused on safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

Must-have:

• Knowledge of asbestos management in commercial buildings
• Ability to interpret asbestos registers, surveys, and air monitoring reports
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience resolving complaints and troubleshooting complex issues

Nice-to-have:

• Familiarity with health and safety legislation, especially asbestos regulations
• Experience coaching others and creating best practice guidance
• P405 qualification or experience in commercial insurance claims
