Resourcing and Budget Analyst

A bit about the job

You’ll join the Operations team within Enterprise Data Engineering, part of Aviva’s Chief Information Office. The team supports around £20m of IT change each year, helping data and technology teams deliver safely and effectively. This role exists to keep day‑to‑day operations running smoothly, from resourcing and budgets to accurate financial tracking. You’ll be accountable for supporting well‑run processes and reliable data that help the wider team succeed. Your work will directly enable technology teams to focus on creating value for Aviva and its customers.

Skills and experience we’re looking for

  • Clear and confident communication, both written and verbal
  • Strong organisation skills with great attention to detail
  • Comfortable using everyday Microsoft office tools, particularly Excel
  • A proactive approach and willingness to learn
  • Experience supporting budgets, forecasting, or resource planning is a nice to have

  • Starting salary £27,000 - £30,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
