A bit about the job:
We’re looking for a Retirement Reporting & Insights Lead who will lead a key team within our Insurance, Wealth & Retirement (IWR) Finance function. This role sits within the Reporting Insights Pillar of the IWR Chief Accounting Office and is responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting, analysis and actionable insights across our Retirement business.
Leading a team of experienced finance and actuarial professionals, you'll help shape how we understand performance, support business decisions and drive future growth. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across Finance and the wider business, using data, technology and insight-led thinking to improve decision-making and deliver stronger commercial outcomes. Alongside this, you'll champion continuous improvement, helping evolve reporting capabilities and embed innovative solutions that increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Qualified Actuary, or a senior leader with significant experience leading actuarial or financial reporting teams within life insurance.
- Strong experience of IFRS and Solvency II reporting frameworks, ideally within retirement.
- Good understanding of the UK life insurance and retirement market, including the key commercial and financial drivers of performance.
- Proven ability to provide clear financial insight, challenge assumptions and support strategic business decision-making.
- Experience leading change, leveraging technology and data capabilities to improve reporting, efficiency and commercial outcomes.

- Starting salary up to c. £120,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
