This is a great job for someone who’s ready for a role where their mechanical skills genuinely make a difference. • Diagnose vehicle faults and carry out minor repairs to get customers back on the road quickly

  • Complete practical tasks such as tyre repairs/changes, battery testing and replacement, and fuel assistance

  • Deliver clear explanations and reassurance, helping customers feel calm and supported in stressful situations

  • Use a fully equipped Green Flag vehicle and tools to safely resolve issues across your area

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • A strong mechanical background with excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills

  • Full UK Category B driving licence and aged 21+ (for insurance purposes)

  • NVQ Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance (or equivalent) preferred — or relevant hands-on experience/apprenticeship

  • Up-to-date knowledge of repair techniques and a strong commitment to safe working practices

  • Confidence working independently, with a calm, friendly, and empathetic approach to customers
