Senior Audit Manager
We’re looking for a Senior Audit Manager to join our Internal Audit team in Ireland. This role is key to assessing and reporting on the effectiveness of Aviva’s control environment, helping protect our assets, reputation, and sustainability. You’ll lead a portfolio of audit reviews, influence senior stakeholders, and contribute to strategic initiatives that shape the future of risk management at Aviva. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver a portfolio of audit reviews across both the Life & GI Businesses, ensuring quality and alignment with business priorities.
- Support the development and execution of the audit plan, including ad hoc reviews.
- Support the assessment of the effectiveness of our control framework.
- Produce high-quality audit reports and committee papers that influence senior decision-making.
- Manage stakeholder relationships at senior management level, driving engagement and collaboration.
- Contribute to Internal Audit projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills & Experiences:
- Strong technical knowledge of insurance, asset management, and regulatory frameworks.
- Analytical and decision-making skills, including strong commerciality and risk-based thinking
- Proven experience in audit or consulting within financial services or insurance.
- Ability to lead complex projects and manage senior-level relationships.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in change risk management and strategic planning.
