Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Actuary
We’re looking for a confident and collaborative actuary to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, part of the newly formed Performance team at Aviva Life & Pensions Ireland. This team plays a key role in shaping our strategy and driving performance across the business. You’ll work closely with senior leaders to deliver insight, challenge thinking, and support decision-making. It’s a role where your expertise will help us grow and thrive. Key responsibilities
- Lead the annual business planning process on both Solvency II and IFRS bases.
- Refresh financial projections regularly to reflect the latest trends and insights.
- Analyse actual results and explain variances to plan with clarity and impact.
- Collaborate across teams to drive strategic delivery and optimise capital use.
- Support M&A activity and new business initiatives with commercial insight.
Skills & Experience
- Qualified Actuary (Society of Actuaries in Ireland or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of life insurance and financial regulation.
- Skilled in capital modelling and financial planning.
- Excellent communicator – able to explain complex ideas simply.
- Confident working with senior stakeholders and influencing decisions.
