A bit about the job: 

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to own and evolve Aviva’s enterprise data platform as a coherent product. 

You’ll set the vision, roadmap and priorities across core platform and “Golden Path” capabilities (our recommended, secure way to build and consume data products) so teams can deliver consistently, safely and at pace. 

You’ll partner closely with engineering, enablement, architecture and service operations—balancing innovation with reliability, risk and cost—to drive adoption, reduce duplication and improve the developer experience.

Your leadership will shift the focus from outputs to outcomes, so our investment translates into sustainable value for customers and the business. 

Skills and experience we’re looking for: 

  • Senior product management experience for internal platforms or complex technical products, with strength in vision, prioritisation and road mapping. Proven track record moving organisations from project led to product led ways of working, with clear outcome definition and value-based prioritisation (e.g., OKRs, RICE). 

  • Ability to work credibly with platform engineers, architects and service owners; confident decision making across stability, technical debt and new capability trade offs. 

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication—able to simplify complexity and build alignment across multiple teams and dependencies. 

  • Nice to have experience with data platform patterns (e.g., data mesh/federation) and shaping a “Golden Path” developer experience.
